Sim’s Park – the Year 1874 saw a deep ravine in Coonoor Valley transformed into a fabulous place of exploring the beauty of Nature with native as well as foreign flora by Mr J. D. Sims and Major Murray. This makes it a fascinating place where tourists seem to be drawn like magic.

The Pasteur Institute – Pasteur Institute is acknowledged for its path-breaking research work on rabies and polio, is situated exactly opposite Sim’s Park.

Law’s Falls – These law’s falls are found on the way to Mettupalayam, 5 Km away from main Bazaar. The way water jump across stones is mesmerising.

Dolphins Nose – This viewpoint is located approximately 12 km from City near Tiger Hill. Amidst dense Sholas Criss-Crossed by winding road, you can see a beautiful view of the Catherine falls from here.

Lamb’s Rock – This viewpoint is within a reserve forest about 8 km from the Coonoor Bus Stand.

Thandi Mariamman Temple – This temple is considered to be 500 years old. Moreover, the temple premises has a telegraph post set by British which is also offered aarti. Apart from this, Swayambumurthy is the prime deity of the temple who is supposed to be protecting Coonoor from a deficiency of rain.

Ooty – Ooty is nearly 19 Km away from Coonoor, the hill station is a gem in the Nilgiri Range. People usually combine Ooty with Coonoor travel package for the maximum fun and optimisation of time also.
