Leh Ladakh is best known as India’s best place to involve in thrill activities and adventure games like Polo, trekking, mountaineering, cycling, river rafting, archery (local game of Ladakh), camel safaris and jeep safaris. However, you will need to take pre-permission from Mountaineering Federation Delhi for enjoying few games such as mountaineering. So, plan accordingly, and must go Leh once in a year to wake up your adventure freaks.

According to the geologists, Ladakh was once the basin of a vast sea. The folding of the seabed due to the collision of two lands caused it to rise to result in the form of the Himalayas and the Ladakh region.
