Zanskar Range – The Zanskar range extends to the North of the central Himalaya. It appears as the backbone of Ladakh south of the Indus River, stretching from the ridges behind Lamayuru in the west across the Zanskar region, where it is distributed from the central Himalaya by the Stod and Tsarap valleys, the populated districts of the Zanskar valley.
